Chateaunuef-de-Pape

We couldn't get over the rocks in this vineyard. They come from the river when it flowed thru this area. They told us that they are 6 ft. Deep. The area is strictly controlled and they can not irrigate the vines. There is only one variety that can be watered but only for the first five years.
